I have a weakness for pretty gardens, and could happily spend my days strolling through the rows of flowers, or finding a shady tree to stop for a picnic. Every season, as soon as spring starts to show its cheery face, I head straight for one of my favorite spots in town at our local arboretum–”Monet’s Garden.”
I always have a moment on that bridge, daydreaming I’m in Giverny…
Two things I am crushing on for this spring are off the shoulder tops and gingham, and this adorable top put a check in both boxes so it was a given (also under $40!) Im also never one to shy away from ruffles and bell sleeves.
These new Jack Purcell’s were the perfect shoe to slip on for a day walking around outdoors.
Springtime in Kansas City means sunshine with rain showers just a few clouds away, so I always have an umbrella on hand. Bubble umbrellas are not only functional, but so darling, so I recently purchased this Hunter one. This pretty, neutral color is on sale for under $40, along with the pink which I have my eye on.
Top: Democracy, Denim: Joe’s (similar style), Shoes: Jack Purcell, Umbrella: Hunter, Watch: Michele (similar style), Lips: Ultradior Cruise
I always leave wishing I could bottle up that heavenly, fresh bloom smell…
XO, Rachel

It’s great of you to tell your story. Love it.
Do you wear your Jack Purcell’s without socks?

Usually I wear the no show socks with all of my sneakers, but I have definitely worn them without before!
