Nothing gives me the cozy feels of fall and winter more than a fair isle sweater. There is something so pretty and iconic about it! Anytime I see something fair isle, it instantly makes me picture things like being bundled up on a crisp fall day, or going to the Christmas tree farm, and definitely makes me feel like I should be headed to a snowy ski lodge! It’s just such a traditional pattern, and it always pairs perfectly with plaids, beanies, cable knits, classic coats and all the cozy things!

When I saw this fair isle sweater dress, I knew in a heartbeat that I had to have it in my wardrobe! I adore sweater dresses, and the fact that it’s fair isle makes it such a classic that I will always keep. I love the mix of cream, brown and black, and it’s so pretty when paired with different styles of boots.

Yesterday I spent the perfect fall afternoon at my favorite covered bridge in KC, and every time I go back it’s just so idyllic and makes me feel like I’m in a Hallmark movie! The trees are finally turning colors here, and nothing makes me happier than the gorgeous colors of fall! I wore this sweater dress with these brown booties, and I love the western touch that these boots add to the look. I can’t wait to wear this dress with my black OTK boots, and will also be so cute with my red Hunter boots and snuggly coats at Christmas time! I definitely would have taken this dress with me to Ireland a few months ago had I had it then! It’s so fitting that it’s called the Scotland dress, which is next on my list of places to go and this is exactly the kind of dress I would take with me! I will be packing allll the fair isle pieces when I do go!

Everything about this dress is warm and soft, and I just know I will be wearing it nonstop this season! It’s just under $200 and I would 100% say it’s worth the investment as it will be a classic piece in your wardrobe. I am wearing the size medium for reference. When I saw this dress, it randomly made me think of something that Amanda from The Holiday would wear, ha! My all-time favorite movie and I’ve always loved her wardrobe in it!

Thank you all so much for stopping by today!
