Hello Friday, I am so ready for you! After a whirlwind week getting back home from New York, I can’t wait for a little downtime this weekend, although I’m wishing I was still in NYC!
As you may know, I went to NYFW this past weekend for the first time, and it was also my first trip to NYC! Let me just say, I totally fell head over heels in love with that beautiful city..like seriously having withdrawals! I had always thought I would love to live in the city for a year or two in my twenties, and after this weekend, I am already daydreaming looking at apartments, ha!
NYFW 2017 was definitely one of those once-in-a-lifetime experiences that I will never, ever forget! There were so many moments where I just had to stop and think to myself “is this really happening!?” Being front row at the Banana Republic x Olivia Palermo collection show (so my very first NYFW runway show!) and seeing Olivia Palermo was definitely top of the list! It was also amazing to finally meet in person so many other bloggers and friends from Instagram at the rewardStyle events I attended!
I adore all things Alice and Olivia, and this dress was one of my favorite looks I wore this weekend! I love the ruffled tiers, colorful floral pattern and touches of velvet. It’s such a pretty dress to take in to fall, and pair with boots. I switched into booties to walk around the city, and I’m also loving the idea of this dress paired with OTK boots! This is definitely a dress worth investing in!
