Spring Essentials

This week in Kansas City we’ve been having spring-like weather, and I’ve been taking full advantage of spending time outdoors sans layers. It’s been a much needed breath of fresh air and has me so anxious for spring! I spent my Saturday out shopping, enjoying the sun on my face, and wore this white tunic and slipped into my new Stuart Weitzman shoes. It was so nice to trade out the boots for a pretty pair of strappy heels.

My adorable little sidekick has been coming along with me everywhere as she is too little to stay at home alone yet, she is a girl about town! (I think Lola enjoys a break from the craziness too!;))

One of my favorite spring essentials is long, flowy tunics, perfect for throwing on with your favorite denim, a pretty pair of sandals or heels, and a great handbag. Such a simple outfit still feels chic and put together. After buying this tunic in black, (seen here) I couldn’t resist picking it up in white, too. The long length is so flattering and the material is light and airy, and is very affordable as well. It will certainly be a top that I come back to time and time again through the upcoming season!

I just melt for that sweet little face and her puppy kisses!
