As much as I wish summer would stay for forever, fall is just around the corner so I’ve started to look for pieces that are great for transitioning from summer to fall. For me, the perfect fall transition piece will always be utility jackets! I probably have one too many in my closet, but they’re just seriously the best, and so versatile!
I absolutely love how cute they are paired over a feminine dress with a pretty pair of sandals, or with my favorite sneakers for a more sporty/casual look. I also love wearing my utility jackets with a basic tee, a denim skirt/cutoffs, sneakers or slides, and lately I’ve been adding on one of my new Gucci belts! Whether you’re headed out to dinner, to the movies or just running errands, utility jackets are always my go-to for an effortless yet put-together look. They’re also great for traveling, and to have on hand while you’re out and the temperatures start to get a little cooler towards fall.
You’ll often see me wearing them wrapped around my waist with a cute dress as my look for the day, which is perfect as we head in to that tricky in between summer/fall weather! I don’t have to wear it all day if it’s too warm, but that way I’ve got it on hand if I need it…and I think it looks cute that way too, haha! The good news is, you can even wear them with your leggings, joggers and workout wear for those days you really don’t want to get dressed 😉 I love a cute leggings, sneakers, baseball hat and camo utility jacket combo! Once were in full fall mode, pair them with denim, booties, a cute fedora/floppy hat, flannels, scarves…essentially whatever you want! They’re just that versatile. As we head into fall, I’ll be sure to keep sharing ways that I style my utility jackets!
