Fall is right around the corner, and I am starting to get so excited for cooler weather, fall leaves, and all things cozy! Since I am in the fall mood, I wanted to share some of my favorite Walmart fall outfit ideas! They seriously have out the cutest things for fall right now, and of course you can’t beat the prices!
Denim Dress: this darling denim dress I’m wearing in the photo is just perfection for fall! I absolutely love denim for fall, it’s an essential! It really works as a neutral, as you can pair it with all different colors, accessories, and cute, cozy layers! The style of this dress is so darling on. I am wearing size S. It’s so cute worn by itself, but I can hardly wait to pair it with a cute scarf, jackets or cardigans layered on top when it cools down, etc! I thought it was perfect paired with my red Hunter boots…this look has me day dreaming of going to the apple orchard! I also love this dress paired with some brown booties or otk boots and a hat! The Western trend is very popular this season, and I love it, and this dress with boots and a hat is perfect for that trend! This dress is also perfect to transition from summer to fall! So, so many ways you can style this all season long.
Plaid Dress: this is the most perfect pumpkin spice plaid dress! I love anything and everything plaid for fall, and of course pumpkin spice, or rust, is one of my favorite colors of the season! This dress is nice and lightweight, so just like the denim dress, it’s perfect to transition from summer to fall! Cool enough to wear while it’s still warm but I’m wishing it was fall, and then beyond cute to style and layer with for fall!! Also wearing size S. It’s also perfect with booties or otk boots and a hat. I am obsessed with this quilted jacket that I got, and it’s so perfect to layer with over this dress!! I got the pumpkin spice color to match, but this jacket comes in four colors that are all perfect for fall…I want them all, ha! You could also layer a cream or rust cardigan on top of this dress. It also comes in a darling burgundy/apple red floral print, and a black/cream floral!
Denim Shirt: like I mentioned with the denim dress, denim is a fall essential! Honestly a year round essential, but especially for fall/winter! It’s just so great for layering and to mix and match will all different pieces! It can be oddly hard to find the perfect, classic denim shirt, so when I came across this one on Walmart, I had to have! I love my button up shirts to be pretty oversized, so I go up a couple sizes in these and get the XXL. This also helps add some length so they’re perfect to wear with leggings, too! I will style this shirt about a 100 different ways throughout the fall, and into the winter. It’s cute just by itself with jeans, boots and a hat for the Western trend, or paired with jeans, Hunter boots, a hat, and a plaid scarf for a trip to the apple orchard! Also great just thrown on with leggings, baseball hat and sneakers for a simple, everyday look. And of course, it’s the best layering piece to put under all of your fall jackets, cardigans, and shirt jackets! I love to put a denim shirt like this under my plaid flannels or shirt jackets, and just leave them unbuttoned! Or wear the denim shirt, and tie the flannel around your waist with jeans or leggings..so cute and easy!
Quilted Jacket: this cute quilted jacket that I mentioned with the plaid dress is just too good!! I absolutely love all four colors it comes in…navy, pumpkin spice (which I got), army green, or cream! All perfection for fall, and I want them all! It’s an amazing layering piece to put with your dresses, like the plaid dress, or over your cable knits and sweaters, or over your flannels! I love it layered over that denim shirt!! I got size medium for a slightly oversized fit and extra room to layer a sweater under. I probably could’ve made a small work too, but the medium works fine!
Plaid Shirt Jacket: I love shackets!! I’ve always been a fan of flannels, so shirt jackets are so fun and cute! I love that you can just leave them unbuttoned like a jacket, and layer sweaters, henleys, long sleeves, etc underneath. I love all things red white and blue, so I had to order this when I saw it! It’s actually from the men’s section! I love checking the men’s section for great fall/winter basics like henleys, long sleeves, flannels, etc! They’re always longer which I love so I can wear them with leggings. I love this navy and red plaid, but it also comes in red and black buffalo check, which is one of my favorite prints for fall and winter/Christmas, with a cream cable knit underneath, beanie, cozy boots, or booties and a fedora! I got the size medium for extra room, I probably could’ve done a small, too.
Sweatshirt Henley: this is a great layering piece! I love that it’s a sweatshirt AND henley! It comes in a couple colors. I got the navy to layer under that plaid shirt jacket with my red Hunter boots, so cute!! It’s also perfect layered under that quilted jacket, no matter which color of the jacket you choose! It’s great worn by itself with leggings and a baseball hat, or jeans, boots, hat and a plaid scarf! I got size L for oversized fit.
Cozy Boots: I’m obsessed with these cute boots!! The cozy sherpa/fur lining, the cute laces, the faux leather heel..soo good! And under $30. They first caught my eye because they remind me so much of one of my favorite pairs of designer boots I have. This chunky style boot with the cozy lining is one of my favorite and most worn styles of boots for fall/winter the past few years! I just love them with all of your sweaters, flannels, shirt jackets, puffers, beanies, fedoras, etc for fall and winter/Christmas! They make every outfit look so cozy and cute! I am a size 9-9.5, and I get the size 10 in Walmart shoes since they don’t do half sizes, and they’re perfect! I love all four colors these boots come in. The pink are so fun, and I love that the black have the plaid lining, too! NOTE: for some reason, when you click on certain sizes/colors for these boots and some other new fall pairs on Walmart, it shows a different boot. It’s just the wrong picture!! Just choose your size and color, ignore the picture, and you will still get sent the right boots!
Denim Slip On Sneakers: how cute are these sneakers?? Of course you know I love the denim! The sherpa lining is so cute, too! These are perfect paired with that denim dress!
