TGIF! This weekend is an extra fun one around here. Tomorrow is my 23rd birthday, so today I am sharing 23 fun facts about me! Hope you enjoy!
1. I am 23 today!
2. I have two sisters and I’m in the middle! My older sister, Ariel, who is 26 and my little sister, Piper, who is 15!
3. Traveling is my obsession! In the past year, I traveled internationally for the first time, and have been to Paris, Ireland and London! Next on my list is Tulum, Mexico and Italy.
4. I drive a Jeep, and actually, everyone in my family does, haha!
5. I am terrified of spiders. Just the thought of them makes my heart race, lol. I really wish I wasn’t, but I just can’t get over it.
6. Snacks are life. I am such a snacker, and always have been since I was little, haha! I always have some of my favorite treats on hand, and have taken a snack bag with me on every international trip.
7. My dad is a marine, so we have moved around a lot! I was born in Virginia, lived in Maryland until I was 4, moved to Kansas City while I was in kindergarten-third grade, moved back to Maryland when I was in fourth grade, and then moved back to KC going into fifth grade and have been here since then! It was convenient moving between the two states because I just bounced back and forth between my same friends, school, neighborhood, etc. haha.
8. I started BBG for the first time a few weeks ago, and I’m currently on week 10. I love it!!
9. One of my favorite things I’ve ever done is snuba diving in Key West. I love the ocean and being down there underwater and seeing everything was so unreal! Snuba is different from scuba in that your mask stays attached to a long air hose, but you still get to go pretty deep!
10. My favorite meal is a cheeseburger, fries and a chocolate milkshake. Shake Shack, I love you! (They’re coming to KC this fall!!)
11. I have two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Lola is 12, and Ruby is 2!
12. My current favorite TV show is “The Royals.” The season ended a few weeks ago, and I’m dying for it to come back.
13. I have been to London, but not by plan! When we left Ireland our connecting flight home was in London, which we missed because of snow. The airline had to put us in a hotel, so we were able to visit London free of charge! It was a blizzard while we were there, but that didn’t stop us! Sometimes missing your flight can work out in your favor.
14. At the top of my bucket list is cage diving with sharks, preferably great white sharks! I think that would be so incredible. (Ironic that my biggest fear is spiders, right?)
15. I adore kids, and hope some day to have 4 or 5! I would love to adopt, too. I’ve spent many years babysitting and nannying, and started when I was around 12 or 13. I loved it so much!
16. My birthday dessert of choice is always Dairy Queen ice cream cake, or cookie cake.
17. I wear clip-in hair extensions by Barefoot Blonde Hair in the color Brown Sugar!
18. My top 2 favorite things to buy for myself are dresses and designer handbags! I definitely believe in investment pieces!
19. I started a YouTube channel last year after coming home from Paris. Are you subscribed!? You can here! I’m about to share my Ireland vlog this week!
20. My Chic-fil-A order is the classic nuggets with fries, and a cookies ‘n’ cream milkshake. Always!
21. My absolute favorite holiday is Christmas! I go all-out and it just makes me soo happy!
22. I did not finish college, and have no regrets! I am so grateful that blogging has given me the opportunity to truly do what I love, and I’m especially grateful to be able to connect with each and every one of you through my blog! Love you all so much and I can’t thank you enough for your support!!
