Life Update 2019

Hello, 2019 and Happy New Year everyone! I hope your holiday season was merry and bright, and that you enjoyed a little relaxation with family and friends before kicking off the new year! I spent the past few days looking back on some of my very favorite moments of 2018 (while also wondering where the heck an entire year just went!?) and getting ready for a fresh start! There is something so exciting about the promise of a new year, and while I will miss 2018 and some of the wonderful moments and places it took me to, I can’t wait to see what lies ahead for 2019!

This past year started off on a magical note with a trip to Ireland, which I am certain is one of the most breathtaking places in the world, and then off to London by chance of a missed flight! I went on a few girls trips with my mom and two sisters this summer to Dallas (one of my fav cities!) and then to 30A Florida, my heaven on earth!! I went to my second NYFW in September, attended some fun meetings and the LTK party, and met some new and familiar faces that I don’t get to see in person often! I celebrated my 23rd birthday, bought my first car (a Jeep Wrangler!) and got NBR hair extensions. I soaked up every bit of fall and Christmas with my family and friends, and enjoyed all of the day to day moments that my favorite time of year brings! I am so incredibly thankful for the adventures and growth that this year brought, for the good health of my loved ones and myself, and the support of each and every one of YOU! Seriously, you all mean the world to me, and I am so glad that you were along for the journey this past year!

2019, I have high hopes and big plans for you! Starting off with a little life update for you all. I am SO excited to share that I am starting this new year off on a completely fresh start as a full-time blogger!! It still feels surreal to say that…a little bit scary, but mostly incredibly exciting! For those of you that have been following along for some time now, you might know that I worked for Nordstrom for the past few years. I had so much fun at my job, and am so grateful for the opportunities that it brought me and the connections and friendships I made. Yesterday was actually my very last day, so 2019 is quite literally starting off on a very new note for me, ha! I know that I will miss it, but I have never been more excited for what the future holds as I take my passion full-time! I will now have every single day to devote to blogging, connect with all of you and create content that I love, and travel! During my time at Nordstrom I was only posting Nordstrom product, but now will be expanding to all of the other brands and retailers that I love as well, which I am very excited about!

I want to always encourage you to take a chance and believe in yourself. Don’t quit your day dream, and work hard! If you didn’t know this about me, I actually dropped out of Journalism school at KU my freshman year of college to take a chance on myself and pursue my passion, which led me to blogging! Now here I am a few years later, taking another leap of faith and giving it my all as a full-time blogger! Don’t get me wrong, it most definitely hasn’t always been easy, and I know that it won’t always be, but I’m excited for the journey ahead!

Now for the most important part, this doesn’t go without saying that I’m endlessly thankful for all of you!! Being able to pursue my dream would not be possible without each and every one of you! Your sweet comments and encouragement, ‘liking’ my photos on Instagram and watching my YouTube videos, and shopping my links and content that I create means the world to me! I hope to always be a source of inspiration for you all, and I so enjoy getting to know you all…it’s one of my favorite parts of blogging!
