It’s the coziest time of the year, and I couldn’t be happier! There’s just something about fall that brings all of those warm, happy feelings, and decorating for fall is something that always brings me joy! I feel like especially this year, a fresh start and a new season is just what we need. Fall is sure to bring a dose of happiness! This past week I finished decorating my room, and wanted to share some of my favorite Target fall home decor!
I love making a space as cozy as possible for the season and working in all of those pretty fall tones and textures, and little seasonal details. Whether you like to go full fall mode, or keep it neutral and simple, there are so many ways that you can bring out that fall feeling in your home! When you think of fall, you often think of all the warm colors like orange and red, but if that’s not your cup of tea, shades of blue, green or grey are also beautiful for the season. This year, I kind of did a mix of both! My room has a coastal decor vibe to it, and I love shades of blue and navy, but I also really love some of those ‘typical’ warm tones of fall. By using different pillows and blankets, I was able to incorporate those colors in and mix them, while still going along with my other room decor! I love the way that the shades of blue look paired with the burnt orange!
Adding in patterns like plaid or windowpane check is another easy way to add touches of fall to any room! This plaid pillow shown above is my favorite this year, and it comes in two colors! It instantly adds that fall feel! If you’re someone that likes to decorate for fall in a more subtle way, or if you’re decorating on a budget, that can definitely be done without having to completely flip each room! It can be as simple as swapping out some of your normal pillows and blankets for fall colors/patterns that you love, or just work with the ones you have and add in a cozy cable knit pillow/blanket and some pumpkins here and there! There are always so many cute pumpkins to choose from in all different textures/colors, or you can even simply add in a few real pumpkins for very little $$. The ‘Cinderella’ pumpkins are my favorite, I think they’re so pretty and they come in gorgeous pastel colors or whites/muted greens!
Target is always one of my favorite places to shop for fall/holiday decor, and it made me so happy when they set up the fall section! They really knocked it out of the park this year with pretty fall decor, and I love that they did an assortment of colors in all of the blankets, pillows, pumpkins, etc! That way you can pick your favorite color palette, or kind of mix and match like I did! I had so much fun getting my room all decorated and extra cozy for the season, and I’m excited to share it with you all and hopefully bring you a little inspiration!
