Hey, everyone! Happy almost Valentine’s Day! For a sweet lover like myself, Valentine’s Day is a pretty enjoyable holiday, ha! Chocolate, cookies, and heart-shaped candies…what’s not to love?
At Christmastime I shared my cutout sugar cookie recipe, and it is honestly the BEST ever! They are thick, soft, hold their shape for cookie cutters, and have the most delicious sugar cookie taste! Did you notice the secret ingredient? It’s the orange juice!! I rarely see any recipes that use this, and it makes all the difference. They seriously taste like they came from a bakery. I make this cutout sugar cookie recipe for every holiday, and wanted to share it again in case you are wanting to make some heart-shaped cookies for tomorrow!
I love decorating them with festive sprinkles, colored icing, and you could even do something fun like ombré icing! If you are having a party, or just want to treat yourself, you must try this recipe! You could even make these and package them up in cute little gift bags, and attach the recipe for a perfect friend/teacher/etc. gift!
